March 14, 2023 - Tuesday - Another Bus Trip

I took the bus to Home Depot today with high expectations... Should have known better. They didn't have many items we would consider normal stock. Oscillating saw blades, aluminum flat bar, etc. I found them all on Amazon, so will order there. I'm sure someone carries what I need, but no idea where. At any rate, i am resolved not to waste so much time running around town looking for things.

My insect sticky traps had success last night. Just one, but what was lacking in quantity was made up for by size! I'm glad it didn't crawl over me in the night... I continue with the deep cleaning. Slow, but steady progress. My impression is that there weren't that many bugs on board. I have only seen about 6 or 8 so far. This is encouraging.

I borrowed a tool for my cutting job, which is why I was in search of the saw blade. Fortunately another neighbor had blades I could use, so moving forward.

For dinner, I joined the marina group who were heading out to have pizza. We hired a little red bus (small truck with bench seats in back) for the short trip to the restaurant. It was a small place. They made fresh dough and fixed the pizza right in front where you can watch.

My laprop computer display has stopped working. I tried several fixes the past couple of days, but no success. This is a significant problem. I have many files on it and it was critical for editing photos for the blog. This is the main reason I have been behind a few days. I tried some tablet apps but they couldn't do what I needed. Anyway, until I resolve the issue, I'll try to post daily, sans pictures...
